# Colombia department map data

The department boundaries in `colombia-departments.svg` are based on the simplified Colombia ADM1 administrative boundary dataset published by geoBoundaries:

The SVG is a display rendering of the 33 ADM1 units (32 departments and Bogotá Capital District). Department names and example principal cities are presented separately in `../data/coverage-departments.json`. The city list is illustrative, is not a municipal boundary dataset, and does not limit the stated delivery coverage to those cities.
